Our Story

DAIR Capital is a global asset management firm founded in Ireland, by Darren Dineen. Shaped by the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, which led to a soverign default and IMF-led bailout in Ireland, the firm today has expanded to a team of 15.

Among the earliest adopters of blockchain technology, the DAIR team have mined, researched, traded, lived and breathed Bitcoin since 2011. From the Mt Gox hack of 2014 to the invention of the perpetual contract on BitMex, from the FTX collapse to the launch of ETFs in the US, the DAIR team have traded through it all.

The mass stimulus and quantitative easing during the COVID pandemic woke many up to the debt supercycle and the changing economic tides of today. The GFC and euro crisis of 2011 were the genesis behind our vision and approach, but the winds of change continue to blow.

The DAIR team combines a macro overlay with digital asset expertise to protect and grow client capital during these turbulent times. A battle-hardened methodology shaped by 15 years in the market and a diverse set of career expertise has placed the firm well to continue to generate outsized returns.
